The weather in Holland is generally mild, rarely dropping below freezing in the winter or becoming too hot in the summer. On the whole it combines this mildness with certain dampness. Amsterdam's climate is very changeable, and often wet and windy. January and February are coldest, with summer often humid. As far as the best time to travel, we believe that since Amsterdam is not a resort and has so much to offer beside the weather, any time is a good time to visit there. However, spring may be one of the lovliest periods with the tulip fields blooming and little lambs grazing on the green fields. Extremely picturesque.
